Treasury Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash reconciliation and positioning in the US, Canada, and Europe

• Support requests related to cash management including positive pay, proofs of payment and monitoring of worldwide bank fees

• Perform month-end close entries

• Support year-end financial audit

• Prepare electronic payments and intercompany bank transfers

• Support foreign exchange hedging program by preparing trade confirmations, releasing wires, maintaining associated spreadsheets, and completing accounting entries

• Support bank/3rd party documentation requests

• Serve as cross-functional backup for other department duties, including, but not limited to: intercompany proposals and bank portal maintenance

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (tax, accounting, legal and divisional finance), as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Corporate Treasury or the banking industry

• Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and as part of a team with strong technical ability and customer orientation

• Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written

• Continuous improvement focused, attention to detail and ability to organize and plan

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Excellent multi-tasking, follow-through, and prioritization skills to meet deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel

• Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and Bloomberg helpful

Education:  Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related field.
