Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate all aspects pertaining to the issuance of letters of credit (L/Cs) with regions, banks, and L/C beneficiaries.
- Recommends language for L/Cs to mitigate risks and meet credit agreement constraints, contract requirements, and legal considerations.
- Monitors L/C portfolio and coordinates with regions for purpose of achieving timely cancellation of outstanding L/Cs.
- Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly consolidated letters of credit reports and summaries.
- Reconciles and arranges payment and allocation/intercompany billing of banking invoices for L/C fees and commissions.
- Compile and analyse cash flow forecasts reported from the regions; project short term liquidity and funding needs around the globe.
- Perform variance analysis and develop performance reports for cash flow forecasts.
- Assist with special projects related to cash management or corporate finance, as required.
- Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Qualifications
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
- Financial modelling.
- Advanced English Oral/written communication.
- Experience reviewing and issued bank guarantees
- Strong knowledge and experience of processing and issuing letters of credit, bank guarantees and bid bonds
- Ability to manage projects, as necessary.
