EDUCATION • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable • Degree in Business or Finance a plus CERTIFICATIONS WORK EXPERIENCE • Experience in Back-Office, Middle-Office or Trade Support operations • Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills • Practical knowledge of market practices and standards • Proficient product knowledge of one or more asset classes desired FUNCTIONAL SKILLS • Proficient understanding of the trade lifecycle and mechanics, transaction workflow, asset classes and booking methodologies • Basic experience with managing robust reconciliations and controls • Exposure to reconciliation and controls processes • Exposure to practical utilization of commonly used tools or techniques in the markets and/or treasury space FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS • Communicates effectively • Identifies multiple paths to success using analytical and critical thinking as well as decision-making skills • Exercises sound judgement, prioritizes effectively, and strives for continuous improvement • Effectively collaborates with colleagues • Leverages available technology to drive efficiency and results • Understands and applies industry trends and best practices • Exhibits optimism, resilience, flexibility, and openness to others' ideas • Values learning as a lifelong professional objective • Engages inclusively and with intent • Always acts with integrity • Detail oriented RESPONSIBILITIES • This role serves as a liaison to the front office and contributes to the support of trading activity, life cycle events and reconciliation of one or more asset classes • Processes trades in accordance with bank policy and departmental procedures within prescribed service level agreements while validating the accuracy of all components of trade bookings across multiple systems: • Validates trades booked by front office • Performs trade integrity reviews • Responds to internal and external inquiries with professionalism • Escalates and ensures trade discrepancies are resolved in timely manner • Assists manager with operations, ad hoc requests and projects • Performs ad hoc reportingMitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is an equal opportunity employer.
