The Role

Daniels Health is looking for a Field Service & Logistics Technician to join our team and help support hospitals across Illinois with critical medical waste services.

This is not a desk job—you’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day.

What will your job involve?

  • Traveling across Illinois (95% travel) from the Western Chicago suburbs to the St. Louis area. Overnight stays required ~1x/month.
  • Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
  • Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
  • Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
  • Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
  • Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
  • Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
  • Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.

  • team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
  • Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel throughout Illinois.
  • can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required due to hospital access.

We are a healthcare service company providing safety systems and medical waste collection for hospitals, medical centers, surgical centers, nursing homes and an array of customers within the healthcare setting.
