What will your job involve?
- Willingness to travel in a personal vehicle.
- Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
- Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
- Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
- Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
- Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
- Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
- Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
What are we looking for?
- Someone who’s physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
- A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
- Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
- Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel throughout Illinois.
- A can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.
- Willingness to be COVID-19 vaccinated required due to hospital access.
