Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Travel Team Specialist to join our Corporate Travel team. Applicants should be highly motivated, thrive in a fast paced team environment, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
This position offers flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include a combination of both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work and can be based from a variety of continental US locations.
The Travel Team Specialist provides customer and administrative support for travel categories to include Air, Car Rental, Hotel, Meetings and Events, Payments, and TMC (Travel Management Company) . This individual must be an exceptional communicator (written and oral) and comfortable with using various electronic platforms (i.e. Teams, Zoom, Webex) to provide necessary operational support. They must be able to develop and maintain internal and external relationships with stakeholders and associated strategic providers to support business operations.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Provide internal customer service support for business operations
- Communicate travel procedures, requirements, updates, and best practices effectively with internal clients and external providers
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships across AECOM, requires excellent cross collaboration and communication skills
- Support each travel category lead with administrative support to identify and achieve operational opportunities
- Deliver training and guidance in an understandable and clear manner to non-technical users
- Provide administrative support for Global Travel procedures, guidelines, and reference documentation updates
- Adopt and embrace AI tools in every day tasks with a continuous learning mindset
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS plus 0 years of relevant experience OR AS degree plus at least 2 years of relevant experience OR HS diploma plus at least 4 years of relevant experience
- Customer service or administrative support in a fast paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PPT, Sharepoint, Excel, Teams)
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), resourceful, and able to collaborate at various levels of the organization
- Highly detail oriented with organization skills to effectively balance and prioritize multiple deliverables
- Highly developed analytical skills, excellent critical thinking, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collegially, engage in open dialogue with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Travel/hospitality experience
- Experience within a similarly large, complex organization
- Sponsorship for US work authorization is not available for this position, now or in the future
- Relocation assistance is not available for this role
