AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for a Travel Services Support Desk teammate to join our Travel Administration team at our administrative headquarters in downtown Portland!
The Travel Services Support Desk helps support AAA Oregon/Idaho Travel Services by providing technical, operational, and system support that enables travel agents to efficiently serve members and achieve business objectives. They serve as the primary resource for travel-related technology, reservations systems, and operational procedures while promoting service excellence, process consistency, and continuous improvement.
*Please note: This position is based out of our Downtown Portland Administrative Headquarters. We cannot accommodate out of state employment at this time and we do not provide relocation assistance.
Desired Skills
- Two or more years of travel industry, reservation operations, travel technology, systems support, or related experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of a GDS and travel reservation platforms; Sabre experience preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting system, access, configuration, transaction, or workflow issues.
- Strong organizational, communication, documentation, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to investigate issues, determine appropriate resolutions, and respond effectively.
- Ability to communicate technical and operational information to employees with varying levels of system knowledge.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and ensure consistent follow-through.
- Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, leaders, internal departments, and external partners.
- Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to new systems, technologies, and processes.
