Qualifications:
- Possess and maintain a valid Registered Nurse License issued by the Maryland State Board of Nursing, or a license recognized by the Compact State Agreement.
- Local rule: Locals under 50 miles are not allowed. Candidates' permanent residence must be 50 miles or over from the hospital site.
- Possess and maintain a valid BLS/ACLS/PALS - AHA only.
- CPI Certificate - Most units will require the CPI certification as part of compliance. The Calm Every Storm online version is currently the only acceptable online vendor.
- Knowledge of computer software and platforms such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of informatics. Knowledge of health data systems, data analytics (gathering and analyzing data, designing workflows, measuring impact, managing and systems).
