Greet and assist customers, operate an electronic cash register, handle cash and correct change, stock and rotate inventory (FIFO), maintain store cleanliness, forecast and stock merchandise, perform assigned cleaning and store tasks, obtain required training and licenses.

Job Purpose: The person who greets and helps customers in our local convenient store is the most important person at our facility. You are the face of our company. We rely on you to provide outstanding service; maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment; stock and merchandise products; and, naturally, operate the register.
Essential Functions:
- Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service
- Maintain a clean, customer friendly environment in the store
- Ring customer sales on an electronic cash register
- Receive cash from customers and give correct change
- Perform all regular cleaning activities and other tasks that are included on job assignments
- Rotate inventory using F.I.F.O
- Forecast and stock merchandise
- Other duties assigned by management
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing and visual acuity.
- Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Working Conditions
- Performing various tasks concurrently
- May inhale gasoline fumes, and handle hazardous chemicals
- May work in possible extreme heat or cold conditions when performing external duties
- Store will be maintained on a 24 hour basis
- Requires one employee per shift unless otherwise directed by management
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration
- High school diploma preferred
- Basic math skills, computer skills, and customer service skills
- Understanding of sound and effective internal control procedures with the ability to devise effective controls through departmental structure and processing of documents.
- Ability to exercise good judgment at all times, including under stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Ability to resolve conflict, team building and motivate team members.
- Documents that establish both Identity and Employment Eligibility.
- Must be able to get liquor license and take the ACE Training Course
Must pass drug screening
