The Travel Operations Support Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive support for travel-related operations within the organization. This role involves analyzing and improving travel systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the broader travel team. The analyst will work closely with internal departments, and clients to ensure the efficient operation of corporate back office travel systems and processes.
What You'll Do:
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze data from the travel management system to generate reports on travel expenditures, travel patterns, and policy compliance.
- Prepare monthly or quarterly reports for management to evaluate the effectiveness of travel programs.
- Updating of SLA’s to track and monitor the success of the travel program
- Auditing of booking platform to ensure consistency in line with travel policies
- Communication & Support:
- Liaise with travel partners and other third-party suppliers to provide any updates to travel security updates and resolve any data or traveller profile related problems or discrepancies.
- Provide general administrative support to the Travel Operations team as required.
- Training and Documentation:
- Develop and maintain training materials related to travel operations back off processes and policies.
- Document all travel-related processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously assess and suggest improvements to travel processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall traveler experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies in travel management.
- Assist with case management resolution in a timely manner and follow up any outstanding tickets
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Travel Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in travel operations, corporate travel management, or related field.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of travel management systems/processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of corporate travel policies and industry best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from travel data.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with travel systems
- Familiarity with travel data analytics and reporting tools.
- Project management experience.
