Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL - USA

Hybrid: 3 Days in office/ 2 Days Remote

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Serves as a guardian of The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards and is a positive role model, prioritizing the culture, driving appreciation, energizing personal service, enlivening empowerment, cultivating quality, leading with compassion and accountability, inspiring innovation, and celebrating successes.
  • Manages full-cycle recruitment for assigned shipboard positions: intake with hiring leaders, sourcing, screening, structured interviews, reference evaluation, and offer.
  • Delivers a candidate experience worthy of the brand at every touchpoint, ensuring timely, warm, and honest communication with every applicant, including those not selected.
  • Builds and maintains talent pipelines through hospitality and maritime schools, job fairs, referral programs, and direct sourcing, with particular attention to hard-to-fill and high-turnover positions.
  • Screens for eligibility against seafarer requirements, including medical fitness standards, certification prerequisites, and visa eligibility, before offer.
  • Maintains complete, accurate, and current records in the applicant tracking system, ensuring every candidate action is documented and reportable.
  • Meets or exceeds targets for time to hire, pipeline coverage, and quality of hire, and contributes to the establishment of departmental baselines.
  • Partners with TDS Coordinators to ensure a seamless handover of every selected candidate into documentation and onboarding.
  • Represents the Company at recruitment events, which may include domestic and occasional international travel.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in cruise, maritime, hospitality, or another high-volume, service-driven industry.
  • Demonstrated sourcing capability across channels, including direct outreach, schools, and referral programs.
  • Familiarity with seafarer hiring requirements, including medical, certification, and visa prerequisites, preferred; willingness to develop working knowledge of STCW and MLC 2006 requirements affecting selection required.
  • Experience working in a diverse and multi-cultural environment required.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage a high requisition load in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of applicant tracking systems and standard office software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the Lady or Gentleman is regularly required to sit for extended periods; use hands and fingers for sustained computer work; talk and hear, including by telephone and video conference across multiple time zones; and occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus for prolonged screen use.

This position may require occasional domestic and international travel for recruitment events, school visits, and periodic time aboard the Company's yachts.  While embarked, the Lady or Gentleman must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills applicable to visitors and supernumeraries, and to move safely about a vessel at sea, including the use of stairs and watertight doors.


COMMUNICATION

All Ladies and Gentlemen must be able to communicate in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures.  This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors, and co-workers.
