Purpose of the role
As part of the Services and Operations, Configuration and Data Management team, the Data Analyst role is important in implementing and integrating Amadeus and external providers’ content for our customers.
The Data Analyst primarily performs data imports and checks using graphic interfaces based on data received from secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) servers and web services, in messages transmitted by all types of travel providers. The Data Analyst will also support Product Management with tasks that require manual checks and assist in identifying key elements or performing data clean-up. The Data Analyst will support the Operational team by contributing to customer product activations, overseeing data updates in production, providing operational assistance during implementations for data-related topics, and monitoring data quality and integrity.
In this role you'll:
Collect relevant details from customers, internal teams, and third parties.
Set up production and test systems on time as requested.
Initialize systems according to requirements, including manual creation of data through an internal web application tool and automated creation via configuration workbook or other tools.
Provide technical and functional support to customers as needed.
Serve as the main contact for the implementation consultant lead, providing updates on data implementation progress and escalating risks as appropriate.
Specific accountabilities:
Support the receipt and accuracy of data from internal and external providers.
Monitor and help maintain the integrity of product-related data.
Assist with content management-related issues as needed.
Conduct data quality analysis, checks, and monitoring.
Monitor existing properties and other travel data, identify inconsistencies, and collaborate with data providers to update or improve content.
About the Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience in content management, product definition, or implementation teams.
Understanding of travel industry standards, hotel industry, hotel distribution, global distribution system (GDS) environment, and content management activities.
Communication skills for handling customer requests and provider coordination; proficiency in additional languages is welcome.
Attention to detail, data accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
