Ignite Digital, has an exciting opportunity for a Travel Accountant in the San Diego, CA area to support the Navy's NAVWAR HQ Accounting program. The Travel Accountant is responsible for the management of the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Program. This individual will work closely with the customer to provide a deep understanding of what their data means. This role is remote, except for training and occasionally being called in for certain events.

  • Management of the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Program.
  • Provide Command support for the control and maintenance of cardholder's accounts.
  • Control and maintenance of cardholder accounts.
  • Monitor transactions to minimize the risk of delinquency, fraud misuse and abuse, and provide notifications to the cardholder, supervisors and senior officials.
  • Provide customer service via email and phone to a wide variety of individuals.

  • Associate (required) or Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University
  • Must currently have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance (required)

  • Experience with customer service principles and familiarity with customer service terms, processes, techniques, policies, regulations and organizational strategic goals.
  • Experience in processing concurrent tasks.
  • Experience in working with other team members to accomplish large or complex tasks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Access).

Salary: $55k+ to align with education and experience
