Footasylum have recently partnered with Trapstar and this role will be predominately working alongside the Trapstar team. Our Product Creation team is looking for a Senior Product Developer to come and join the Trapstar Team.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about product and wants to contribute to the continued growth of one of the world's leading streetwear brands.

As Product developer you will be responsible for end to end development process of seasonal collections based in Head office in North Manchester, this includes regular travel to London offices. Working closely with Key Stake holders, designers and Product manager, you will play an important role in ensuring the successful delivery of departmental and business objectives.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and commercially aware, with a strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace new challenges, and contribute positively to both your team and the wider business.

Responsibilities:

• Support Senior stakeholders in supporting the short, medium and long term development strategy for Trapstar brand.

• Manage and arrange fitting/sealing meeting across both Head office and London office.

• Successfully work with the wider development team to oversee the end-to-end development process making sure best in class multi- category product is achieved according to the required critical path timelines

• International travel for factory development and production trips

• Successfully meet all deadlines, checking of submissions sent from the factories including lab dips, bulk fabric and print submissions within specified timeframes,

• Ensure the manufacture of own brand products are to the highest standard. Support in fit meetings, and feedback on samples/fabrics/lab dips approvals /safety standards /testing/QC .

• Analysing technical issues accurately and sending clear, concise and accurate comments to suppliers; processing samples in a timely manner.

• Maintain strong partnerships with all internal teams (eg Design, Buyers,Supply chain, Sourcing, etc).

• Bulk QC checks from warehouse in timely manner whilst leading general QC function.

• Understanding and maintaining PLM system from BOM to production

• Mentor and support junior members of the Product Development team ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and development through clear direction and feedback, identifying individual training needs, and encouraging collaborative ways of working

About You:

· Minimum 4 years’ Product development experience in a fast-moving brand/retail environment

· Proven experience of successfully working with Suppliers

· Flexibility to travel

· Passion for Streetwear and Lifestyle products

· Collaborative team player, with ability to react quickly to changing demands and priorities.

· Experience developing junior members of the team

Skills Required

  • Minimum 4 years product development experience in a fast-moving brand/retail environment
