The Transversal Platform Capabilities Owner is a senior product leadership role responsible for the discovery, implementation, and evolution of key transversal platform capabilities across the organization, playing a key role as an enabler of the organization's transition from a product-centric model to a platform-driven model. The role exists to transform fragmented business solutions into scalable, reusable platform capabilities that serve multiple products and business lines, ensure consistent E2E implementation of complex rules,  and that core capabilities (such as pricing, billing, payments, analytics, partner onboarding) are designed once, built once, and leveraged across the organization to increase speed, consistency, and economic efficiency. This role leads heavily through influence, strong stakeholder management, and ownership.

Domains are functionally owned by corresponding departments, the Transversal Platform Capabilities Owner does not own domain rules or operations, but owns the capabilities and end-to-end implementation, integration, and change propagation across the (digital) Pluxee landscape, and this by working closely with the domain Subject Matter Experts (SME).

Scope may evolve based on strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

End-to-end capability ownership

  • Own the E2E design, implementation, and lifecycle of transversal platform capabilities
  • Ensure changes in all transversal capabilities (pricing, billing, payments, etc.) cascade correctly across all systems and products
  • Prevent fragmented or localized implementations (“island solutions”)
  • Identify existing capabilities and drive standardization vs country/market optimization trade-offs
    Product ownership & delivery
  • Manage a structured intake process for segment-level demand: receive, qualify, and prioritize requests from domain teams, business stakeholders, and client-facing channels against segment outcomes, and redirect what falls outside scope
  • Own a dedicated backlog for transversal platform capabilities
  • Act as Product Owner in scrum teams
  • Ensure E2E scoping from the start, avoiding costly rework downstream
  • Drive platformisation and innovation requirements into product and platform roadmaps
  • Work closely with architecture and engineering teams
    • Ensure API-driven, modular, and scalable design
    • Align data models and system interactions across products and platforms

Global Product collaboration

  • Partner with the Global Product organization to align capability strategy, scope, and sequencing with global product roadmaps and priorities
  • Navigate the matrix to drive decisions through influence, governance, and clear trade-offs (global consistency vs country/market needs)
  • Ensure cross-product adoption by shaping standards, APIs, and ways of working, and by securing buy-in from global and country stakeholders

Cross-organizational alignment

  • Align Product, Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting, and external partners
  • Influence decisions, by structuring complexity and creating clarity
  • Raise standards of working: E2E thinking, reuse, consistency, and scalability

Change & leadership

  • Lead change through influence and example
  • Introduce better and new ways of working around transversal topics
  • Support the organization in managing complexity and market disruption

  • Strong experience in complex, transversal platform domains (e.g. pricing, billing, payments, marketplaces)
  • Proven ability to operate across multiple teams, products, and stakeholders
  • Strong Product Ownership experience, ideally in platform or E2E contexts
  • Excellent stakeholder management, including country/market and global teams
  • Systems thinker with a strong E2E and platform mindset
  • Experience as Technical Product Manager/ Business Analyst in a Multi-sided Platform Business/ Fintech company would be an asset
