Transporter - PRN
Call and Holiday Coverage
Performs patient transport and other related duties in a timely manner. Assumes responsibility for designated area or procedures as requested. Recognizes the purpose or employment is to prioritize the patient as number one and to put forth the utmost quality in duties performed as radiology transporters.
Job Duties:
- Transport patients according to the designated method and adhering to scheduled times to and from diagnostic and treatment areas.
- Continually transfer patients safely and efficiently via wheelchair, movable bed, or stretcher.
- Assure patient is properly dressed or gowned for examination.
- Provides positive and professional atmosphere for patients.
- Coordinates transport of patients to and from diagnostic testing, transports upon admission as appropriate and at discharge.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma /GED
Preferred Requirements:
- Recent experience in health care setting providing patient care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
