Job Description

AECOM has an exceptional opportunity for a Transportation Project Manager to join our successful Transportation Business Line in Atlanta. You will have responsibilities that include managing a project to achieve specified objectives. And involves the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to completion to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality.  This position offers a hybrid wok option. 

• Manages scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.
• Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following:
  • Provides technical oversight/support
  • Roadway geometrics
  • Drainage design
  • Maintenance of traffic
  • Utility Design
  • Right-of-way plans
  • Staging
  • Erosion and sedimentation control
  • Signing and marking
  • Other related design tasks

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
• Georgia PE License

Preferred:

• 8 plus years of experience designing civil engineering projects
• Experience designing Sate of Georgia roadway projects
• Experience and training with GDOT plan development process
• Experience and training with AASHTO Greenbook Guidelines, OpenRoads and MicroStation
