ResponsibilitiesManage all processes, operations and schedules of the vendor.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for fleet operations to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Develop and manage the fleet costs including costs of security uses, or other relevant costs etc.
Monitor and analyze costs associated with the fleet, including fuel consumption, maintenance,and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Ensuring that all vehicles are in good working order and meet safety and environmental standards.
Oversee the drivers, ensuring that they have the necessary training and are aware of company policies and procedures, and adhere to safe driving practices.
Monitor vehicle usage and performance to optimize the use of resources and identify areas for improvement in cost and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all applicable insurance and legal requirements, such as vehicle registration, inspection, and insurance, and keep track of their associated costs.
Develop and maintain accurate records of fleet operations, including vehicle history, maintenance, repairs, and associated costs.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, Procurement, Finance and others to ensure that the fleet meets the needs of the business while staying within budget and cost targets.
Track Vehicles using functional systems (e.g. Transport software)
Coordinate with Team and Vendor to ensure proper distribution of routes.
Share regular updates to Egypt management on transport status and incident management.
Ensure necessary steps are taken for prevention of accidents.
Research and suggest cost-effective transit methods.
Conduct regular safety audits on vehicles & equipment.
Organize training sessions for employees (e.g. proper use of machines, apps and handling of compliance related issues).
Stay up-to-date with safety regulations and local law and compliances.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in the fleet management field or a related industry, with a focus on fleet operations in regards to employees transportation services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on cost control
Proficient in the use of fleet management software and other relevant technology
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Bachelor's degree in any stream or related field
