Responsibilities
  • Manage all processes, operations and schedules of the vendor.

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for fleet operations to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

  • Develop and manage the fleet costs including costs of security uses, or other relevant costs etc.

  • Monitor and analyze costs associated with the fleet, including fuel consumption, maintenance,and identify opportunities for cost savings.

  • Ensuring that all vehicles are in good working order and meet safety and environmental standards.

  • Oversee the drivers, ensuring that they have the necessary training and are aware of company policies and procedures, and adhere to safe driving practices.

  • Monitor vehicle usage and performance to optimize the use of resources and identify areas for improvement in cost and efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable insurance and legal requirements, such as vehicle registration, inspection, and insurance, and keep track of their associated costs.

  • Develop and maintain accurate records of fleet operations, including vehicle history, maintenance, repairs, and associated costs.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, Procurement, Finance and others to ensure that the fleet meets the needs of the business while staying within budget and cost targets.

  • Track Vehicles using functional systems (e.g. Transport software)

  • Coordinate with Team and Vendor to ensure proper distribution of routes.

  • Share regular updates to Egypt management on transport status and incident management.

  • Ensure necessary steps are taken for prevention of accidents.

  • Research and suggest cost-effective transit methods.

  • Conduct regular safety audits on vehicles & equipment.

  • Organize training sessions for employees (e.g. proper use of machines, apps and handling of compliance related issues).

  • Stay up-to-date with safety regulations and local law and compliances.

Requirements and skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in the fleet management field or a related industry, with a focus on fleet operations in regards to employees transportation services.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on cost control

  • Proficient in the use of fleet management software and other relevant technology

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Bachelor's degree in any stream or related field

  • ​Mandatory B2 English level
