TRANSPORT LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement an inbound receiving schedule for incoming logistics (i.e. freightsaver)
- Implement a maintenance program schedule, and work with 3rd party maintenance vendors.
- Implement an outsourcing program using internal drivers to pick-up from local vendors
- Implement a schedule for internal outbound drivers from site to site (Kent to Redmond, or Redmond to Hawthorne)
- Write dashboards, and improve on existing dashboards (Python skills)
- Research on new technologies, and/or improve on current process to make the driver routes more efficient
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or logistics management; OR 2+ years of logistics coordination experience in lieu of a degree
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- CDL license
- Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution certification (CLTD)
- Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments
- Contacting vendors and creating relationships
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 50% travel between sites in WA (Redmond, Kent, Woodenville)
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- Must be able to lift to 25 lbs. unassisted
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Level 1: $32.00 - $40.00/hour
Level 2: $37.00 - $45.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. Non-exempt Washington employees are eligible for sick leave in accordance with Washington's Sick Leave policies.
