KORRES is looking for a talented Transport Assistant to join its Logistic team.
Key Responsibilities
•Support the Transport Manager in the daily planning and coordination of domestic and international transportation activities.
•Monitor and ensure the timely execution of shipments in line with daily/weekly schedules and business requirements.
•Coordinate with the Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales, and other relevant departments to ensure the smooth preparation and execution of shipments.
•Maintain daily communication with transportation companies, external partners, and drivers to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
•Monitor shipment progress and support the resolution of delays, deviations, or other operational issues in collaboration with the Transport Manager.
•Prepare, review, and manage all necessary documentation related to transportation and shipments.
•Enter and update transportation-related data in the relevant information systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
•Monitor the completion of deliveries and collect the relevant Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation, where required.
•Support the review of transportation charges and the reconciliation of related invoices and supporting documentation.
•Maintain and update transportation records and support the preparation of relevant reports and KPIs.
•Support the Transport Manager in initiatives aimed at improving transportation processes, ensuring timely service and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
•1–2 years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a similar role.
•Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
•Very good knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with SAP will be considered an asset.
•Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
•Sense of urgency, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail.
•Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Skills Required

- 1-2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or a similar role
