Transport Administrator NDC (Afternoon shift)
BWG Foods are currently recruiting for the position of a Transport Administrator on permanent full time basis in Kilcarbery Business Park, Nangor Road, Clondalkin.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Support the Distribution Manager with the day-to-day management of drivers, addressing operational issues and liaising with Drivers, Customer Service, Quality and ROA teams as required.
Maintain effective daily communication with Customer Service and ROA teams, providing timely updates on delivery status and operational issues.
Processing and issuing of purchase order (PO) numbers for suppliers and service providers using the onBase system,
Provide daily operational support to Transport Planners, assisting with planning system changes and accurately entering collection and delivery requirements.
Support compliance by ensuring vehicles and associated documentation remain compliant with RSA requirements, vehicle and driver cards are downloaded.
Maintain and regularly update the vehicle maintenance schedule, ensuring servicing and maintenance requirements are accurately recorded and monitored.
To provide operational support with driver routes, making amendments where required to accommodate changes in collections, deliveries or operational requirements.
The candidate must:
Be flexible with working time, including weekend and night shift
Be strong with communications with drivers and customer service team
Have an understanding of RSA requirements including tachograph rules and driving hours
Have the ability to work both within a team environment and independently
Proficient with Excel and MS Word
