The Transport Administrator is responsible for the effective administration of Sub Contractor transport operations and compliance-related SOX processes. The role acts as the key point of contact for Sub Contractor activities, ensuring accurate system updates, documentation management, issue tracking, and completion of compliance controls, while supporting the efficient and compliant operation of the transport function.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for all Sub Contractor related matters, both internally and externally via telephone and email.
- Manage administrative processes, including uploading Sub Contractor jobs to the portal and attaching all relevant documentation.
- Ensure the labelling process is followed and documentation is distributed to the appropriate departments.
- Handle all discrepancy reports received from Sub Contractors, escalating and communicating issues internally as required.
- Input all Sub Contractor job rates accurately into the Transport Management System.
- Record all discrepancy reports details in the Sub Contractor Issues Tracker.
- Complete all SOX-related tasks as directed by management, including but not limited to:
- Daily Proof Of Delivery checks
- Monthly audit reporting of Proof Of Deliveries
- Maintain clear, professional, and effective communication both internally and externally.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by management.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm
