This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 3 days per week in our St. Petersburg, FL corporate home office.

As a Transition Technology Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a white-glove onboarding experience for Financial Advisors joining the firm. This high-impact role blends project management, technology enablement, and consultative support to ensure advisors are equipped and confident from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advisor Onboarding & Enablement

    • Serve as the primary technology liaison for transitioning Financial Advisors, delivering tailored, hands-on support throughout the onboarding journey.

    • Lead structured onboarding workstreams, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met with precision.

    • Conduct virtual and in-person training sessions to guide advisors through Raymond James platforms, tools, and workflows.

  • Process & Workflow Optimization

    • Document and analyze current (“as-is”) and future-state (“to-be”) workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency and enhanced advisor experience.

    • Define and maintain key business artifacts, including process maps and transition documentation, aligned with enterprise standards.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with internal teams across technology, operations, compliance, and enterprise architecture to ensure a coordinated and seamless transition experience.

    • Lead or support workstreams within broader transformation programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Strategic Analysis & Continuous Improvement

    • Gather and interpret technical requirements through meetings, workflow analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

    • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to assess their impact on advisor transitions and recommend enhancements.

    • Analyze data from diverse sources to inform decisions, identify gaps, and support strategic initiatives.

  • Thought Leadership & Development

    • Maintain a strong understanding of Raymond James’ technology ecosystem, regulatory environment, and advisor needs.

    • Pursue ongoing professional development, certifications, and training to enhance personal and team capabilities.

The total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
