Transformation Lead – Change Management

Brisbane

3 days office, 2 days work from home

Position Overview

At Civeo, we're committed to delivering operational excellence through innovation, continuous improvement, and technology-enabled transformation. As our Transformation Lead, you will play a critical role in driving organisational change across our APAC operations, ensuring new processes, systems, and ways of working are successfully adopted and embedded to deliver sustainable business outcomes.

Working closely with business leaders, operational teams, project resources, and subject matter experts, you will lead change initiatives from design through to implementation and adoption. You will assess organisational impacts, develop change strategies, engage stakeholders, support capability development, and drive behavioural change, while identifying opportunities to improve business processes and service delivery.

This role is ideal for a change management professional who is passionate about improving business performance and enabling people through change. With a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and transformation delivery, the role would suit someone with experience supporting systems implementations who is motivated by driving adoption, embedding continuous improvement, and delivering measurable business outcomes rather than purely technical project delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead business process improvement and transformation initiatives across operational and corporate functions.
  • Analyse current-state processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, compliance, and user experience.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather requirements, align priorities, and drive outcomes.
  • Develop and document current and future-state processes, procedures, work instructions, and operational standards.
  • Prepare business cases, recommendations, and implementation plans that support continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support technology implementation projects through process design, business readiness activities, and change management planning.
  • Conduct impact assessments and support the successful adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve service delivery, operational performance, and customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management, Business Analysis, or a related discipline (highly regarded).
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.

Experience

  • Proven experience in business process improvement, transformation, business analysis, or continuous improvement roles.
  • Demonstrated success delivering process optimisation and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders across diverse business functions.
  • Experience documenting business processes, requirements, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Experience supporting technology-enabled transformation programs and organisational change initiatives.
  • Experience working within complex operational environments and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders.

Skills

  • Strong business process mapping and continuous improvement capability.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to identify root causes and develop practical, commercially focused solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent facilitation and workshop management capabilities.
  • Change management and business readiness expertise.
  • Understanding of technology environments and systems implementation
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and process documentation tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation.
