Job Outline

We’re looking for a hands‑on Transformation Programme Manager to support and drive change across multiple manufacturing sites. This role is focused on delivering real performance improvement while embedding sustainable ways of working through our Business Operating System.

This is a delivery‑focused role suited to someone who enjoys working on the ground, solving real problems, and seeing changes through to sustained results—rather than just facilitating workshops. The role combines transformation, programme delivery, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver transformation activity across multiple sites, driving measurable improvements in performance (e.g. throughput, yield, utilisation, cost).

  • Roll out and embed Business Operating System tools, ensuring they are adopted, used consistently, and sustained through daily management and leader standard work.

  • Lead targeted improvement activity (Kaizen, A3 - structured problem solving) end‑to‑end, from scoping through to delivery and follow‑up.

  • Support growth projects, including new line setup, capacity expansion, and operational ramp‑up.

  • Work with site leadership teams to prioritise improvement activity and align it to business needs.

  • Build capability within sites by coaching and training teams on Lean, A3 thinking, and practical CI tools.

  • Adapt approach based on site maturity, supporting both foundational setup and more advanced improvement activity.

  • Ensure actions are followed through and improvements are sustained over time, not just delivered as one‑off initiatives.

Skills & Experience
  • Background in Continuous Improvement, Programme Management, or Operations in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of Lean / Toyota Production System principles, with practical application experience.

  • Track record of delivering measurable operational improvements, not just facilitating workshops.

  • Comfortable working across multiple sites and influencing at all levels, from operators to leadership teams.

  • Experience supporting or working alongside digital / modernisation initiatives

  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a practical, hands‑on approach.

  • Able to work independently, take ownership, and operate in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.

  • Clear communicator who can bring people with them and build engagement.
