As a Transfer Pricing Specialist (m/f/d), you will be part of the Transfer Pricing team within the Global Tax function in MKS/Atotech. In this role your main responsibility will be to support the expanding TP function by ensuring the TP Documentation compliance of MKS by bringing in-house the preparation of more than 40 local files. Working very closely with our International Tax team in the USA and Germany and our local finance controllers worldwide, you will be involved in all kind of Transfer Pricing related topics from TP controversy to tax planning, process optimization or risk assessment.We are at an exciting stage of building and streamlining our internal processes and you will play a key role in designing workflows, implementing automation tools, and ensuring our compliance function operates smoothly, efficiently, and with a strong focus on value creation.In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager Transfer Pricing.Your Responsibilities
- Draft TP Local Files for over 40 entities from multiple jurisdictions and different divisions/businesses.
- Support on the identification, selection and implementation of Software tools to create local files and other TP compliance documents. Development and standardizing the TP documentation process, with a strong focus on automation, process efficiency, and long-term scalability.
- Support the tax team during tax audits worldwide and APA negotiations
- Provide support in several and diverse key TP projects in a fast paced environment
- Assist Global Tax colleagues in broader Tax related projects (Pillar II, PE, WHT, etc)
- Participating in tax-related projects (based on experience and personal interests)
Your Skills and Qualifications
- A university degree or equivalent qualification in tax
- Ideally three to five years of professional experience in the Transfer Pricing team of an accounting/tax consulting firm
- Very strong communication skills in English, written and spoken, since this is a worldwide role in a US multinational. German skills are a plus.
- Good knowledge of IT / ERP and proficiency in MS office applications, especially Excel.
- Solid TP principles and OECD guidelines knowledge. A proven track record in transfer pricing documentation projects, especially in Asia and EU jurisdictions.
- A cooperative and collegial working style, commitment, and the ability to manage multiple projects or topics simultaneously
