Roles and responsibilities

The Transfer Pricing Intern will be responsible for assisting and supporting the transfer pricing team members within the Transfer Pricing Accounting Group. This is a Fixed Term Contract. This role provides an opportunity gain: exposure to global finance, transfer pricing, intercompany accounting, and working with international stakeholders. This role sits within the central Transfer Pricing (TP) team based in Bengaluru, India. The Transfer Pricing team is part of the Global finance team which manages the central global functions that support the 3 main divisions with the organization – D&A, Risk Intelligence, Markets & Post Trade. The team currently supports over 100+ entities and accounts for over $8 bn value in transactions.

The key activities for the role are as follows:

  • Assist with accounting entries and report preparation.

  • Perform general accounting tasks, including reconciliations and invoice handling.

  • Post accounting entries accurately in the general ledger and ensure all supporting documentations are attached.  

  • Initiate TP Settlements and prepare payment requests for TP invoices after consulting with cross functional teams.

  • Close loop on settlements by posting bank entries and offset the same with open TP invoices.

  • Perform activities/tasks that are assigned with utmost accuracy.

  • Adhere to the timelines and be proactive to call out issues where timelines are going to be breached.

  • Provide support to any ADHOC requests (documentation, reporting, providing samples & additional information to auditors, etc.) from the TP Accountants and TP Leads.

Key attributes for this role are:

  • Bachelor's degree/Master’s degree in accounting, finance, accounting, or related fields.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Office Suite, especially Excel.

  • Excellent command of the English language and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. 

  • Should be inquisitive to learn, can adapt quickly & manage work with minimal supervision if not independently.

  • Strong work ethic & ability to work with a group of highly specialized professionals.
