Description

About us

Liquid Violet is a voice casting and recording studio based in the heart of Covent Garden. Part of the Keywords Studios group, we opened this state-of-the-art facility in 2018, and we produce original dialogue for AAA games, and animated series, as well as facial performance capture, UK English dubbing, audio drama, and ADR. Please note we are not a music studio.

About the role

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Transfer Operator to join the Liquid Violet team on a 6-month fixed term contract, with the potential to extend.

The successful applicant will work to deliver optimum technical efficiency, enabling the company to deliver a competitive, agile and flexible response to the developing needs of our clients. While this is a junior role and full training will be given, we are looking for someone with some relevant experience of audio tools and workflows e.g. a degree/qualification in the audio field or some work experience/internship with a studio or post house.

We are looking for an energetic and pro-active individual who will work well within a team but is also able to work independently with minimal supervision. The role will be based in our West End studio, supporting producers, sound engineers, and editors in the preparation and delivery of key assets.

Reporting to the Technical Operations Lead, you will work across all aspects of the production business, supporting the Transfer and Asset Coordinator, Engineers, Editors, and Mixers in the timely distribution of key assets, creating VoiceQ sessions, tracking files and communicating regular updates to the internal team as well as clients. You will also be responsible for setting up projects and the preparation of audio and video material, updating assets so that everyone is working with the latest material, and final deliveries to clients.

Whilst organisation and attention to detail are critical, we also need someone with an audio background, as there will be technical aspects to the role including QC, ProTools deliveries and Video and Dialogue Editing.
