Job Description

Transfer Engineer 3

As a leader in manufacturing operations, this role drives cross-functional teams—including suppliers and external partners—to enhance both production and administrative processes. You’ll provide technical support for process improvements, manage on-site manufacturing activities, and ensure the highest product quality standards. With a strong grasp of design, assembly, and validation, you’ll spearhead efficiency initiatives, collaborate with vendors on product specifications, and lead process development for optimal results.

Your role:

  • Drive the development, coordination, and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and major productivity improvements at the site level.

  • Mentor peers, lead cross-functional teams and other PIE engineers/technicians, and manage administrative tasks related to team development (Workday, TEDS, hiring, etc.).

  • Provide expert guidance in solving complex issues related to manufacturing processes and equipment and share best practices across the BG or PIE team.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of regulatory and quality systems, including NCRs, CAPAs, and audit readiness.

  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and contribute to tactical and strategic improvements that support long-term goals.

     You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or operations environment with a bachelor’s degree. Candidates with a master’s degree may qualify with no prior experience.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with demonstrated experience in sustaining and improving manufacturing processes.

  • Proven expertise in Quality and Regulatory compliance, including handling NCRs, CAPAs, and supporting audit activities.

  • Advanced English skills written and spoken.
