Our Shareholder Services team represents global Transfer Agency (“TA”) Department with core objective to deliver service excellence to our clients and their investors.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Investor Relations Manager (“IRM”) to lead our team of shareholder services representatives. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our regionally based clients and investors through close collaboration with the rest of the global teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Transfer Agency or fund administration, client management, team leadership, and service delivery optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Servicing and Relationship Management

  • Take ownership of all regionally based clients and investors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Serve as the key regional escalation contact point for client inquiries and escalations.
  • Represent Transfer Agency in communicating global updates and changes.

Team Management and Development

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of client service / shareholder services representatives to deliver service excellence.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to the team to strive for continuous knowledge and skillsets enhancements.
  • Organize and provide training for staff to ensure the team are fully knowledgeable to meet the functional requirements and client specifications.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages professional growth and collaboration.
  • Resource management, allocation and planning for maximum efficiency to meet with both daily and future business requirements.

Service Delivery

  • Oversee the effective delivery of services to clients, ensuring adherence to company policies, standards and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor service performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal departments locally and globally to ensure seamless service delivery and converting business insights into valuable propositions for BBH and our clients.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • BA/MS degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in the financial services industry. Transfer agency, fund administration, client service management preferrable.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive decisions, navigate through complexities and create solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to coordinate across geographic, departments and functions.
  • Knowledge or experience with Temenos Multifonds is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese languages (verbal and written) are required. Additional Asian language is a plus.
