About the Role

We’re looking for a Transactional Sales Intern to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong and support our Transactional Sales business across Southeast Asia and India.
Reporting to the Director, Transactional Sales – SEA & India, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of digital content distribution, working alongside passionate professionals who bring Sony’s stories to audiences across the region.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be an integral part of our sales and operations team, helping bring Sony’s biggest titles to digital platforms across Asia. Your responsibilities will include:
Tracking title launches to ensure correct local names, pricing, metadata, and artwork appear on client platforms
Monitoring new releases, promotional placements, and live status across clients
Compiling and analyzing promotion results and title performance
Tracking competitor releases, pricing, and strategies
Creating title lists for client-specific promotions and marketing decks
Researching metadata for new releases and assisting with go-to-market materials
Supporting the SEA sales, planning, operations, and regional marketing teams through:
Local title performance research
Marketing deck preparation
Event coordination and meeting scheduling
Ad-hoc research and special projects
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented university student who’s eager to learn and thrive in a creative, fast-paced corporate environment.
Key qualifications:
Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office — especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (you know how to make a presentation shine!)
Currently studying business, economics, data analytics, marketing, communications, or a related field
Highly organized and proactive, able to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Collaborative, positive, and a true team player
Attentive to detail, accuracy, and quality in every task
What You’ll Learn

A full overview of the distribution business, with a focus on Transactional Video-on-Demand (TVOD) — including windowing, pricing, and client strategy
Direct exposure to sales planning, research, marketing, and distribution teams
Insights into how content distribution works across Southeast Asia
An understanding of media market dynamics — who the key players are and what content resonates
Experience working in a global corporate environment
Eligibility
This internship is based in Hong Kong.
To meet the statutory and regulatory obligations of the Hong Kong immigration system, you must hold the appropriate permission to work and reside in Hong Kong for the full duration of the internship.
