Why This Role Matters

As a Transactional Buyer with German, you play a key role in ensuring that our production and operational teams receive the materials, parts, and services they need—accurately, cost-effectively, and on time. You process daily procurement transactions, coordinate with suppliers, monitor demand, and support global sourcing initiatives. Your work keeps manufacturing running smoothly, strengthens supplier relationships, and ensures full compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

What You’ll Do

  • Process and manage purchase orders for indirect goods and services up to 100,000 USD, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and lead times while following procurement policies.

  • Track orders, coordinate deliveries, and expedite shipments to prevent production delays and maintain uninterrupted operational flow.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, delays, and quality concerns, and support the identification of new suppliers to enhance cost savings and supply chain resilience.

  • Work closely with production and planning teams to ensure procurement activities align with inventory levels and manufacturing needs.

  • Prepare daily procurement reports, track performance data, and support global sourcing projects by maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to project tasks.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining proper records for purchase transactions, supplier agreements, and audit requests.

  • Support cost control by resolving invoice discrepancies with Finance and contributing to continuous improvement efforts that enhance efficiency in procurement processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and procurement tools.

  • Strong analytical abilities for data review, reporting, and performance tracking.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of materials planning, vendor management, and supply chain fundamentals.

  • Fluency in English and German.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple procurement tasks simultaneously.
