Greenberg Traurig’s Philadelphia office is seeking a Transactional Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join its niche environmental risk management team. We offer a competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.
Practice Summary: The practice focuses on the management and mitigation of environmental risks in connection with the acquisition, development, financing and sale of environmentally impacted real estate and businesses. This is a transactionally-focused group that: (i) performs environmental due diligence for real estate and M&A transactions and brownfields development projects, and (ii) structures solutions to environmental risks through a combination of remedial work, specialty insurance policies and programs, and negotiated contracts and agreements (including purchase agreements, loan agreements, liability transfer agreements and ancillary documents). These are high demand, value-add services with lots of original drafting, deal driven negotiations and constant client interactions. Job Requirements: Environmental experience is not required; candidates should have 1-3 years of corporate M&A, real estate or transactional environmental experience at other large or boutique law firms. Recent graduates will also be considered.
