The Transaction Operations Team Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing end-to-end Transaction Operations activities across fiat and digital asset transaction flows. This role ensures operational stability, transaction accuracy, SLA compliance, and timely incident resolution while leading operational improvements and cross-functional coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong operational knowledge in banking and fintech payment processes, escalation handling, reconciliation, transaction investigations, and operational risk management within a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do- Oversee fiat, stablecoin, and DirectMint transaction flows, ensuring transactions are processed within SLA while handling pending, failed, blocked, and compliance-reviewed transactions.
- Investigate failed payments, settlement delays, missing deposits, rejected withdrawals, reconciliation breaks, and other operational incidents, performing root cause analysis and coordinating resolutions.
- Liaise with banking and payment partners on fund movements, returned payments, SWIFT investigations, settlement discrepancies, and transaction trace requests.
- Manage daily reconciliation processes, resolve mismatches, handle refunds, reversals, fund returns, and maintain controls to mitigate operational and financial risks.
- Monitor dashboards, alerts, and operational performance metrics, proactively escalating critical issues and driving timely resolution of outstanding incidents.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies, enhance SOPs, support automation initiatives, operational tooling, UAT testing, and readiness for new products and features.
- Provide guidance and escalation support to the Transaction Operations team while collaborating with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Customer Support, Treasury, and banking partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Strong understanding of payment rails, settlement processes, transaction lifecycles, and reconciliation across banking and fintech environments.
- Familiarity with payment screening, sanctions controls, operational risk management, and banking operational procedures.
- Proven ability to investigate operational issues, manage escalations, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely resolutions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced operational environment.
