Role - Transaction Management BA
Role SummarySupport business analysis across transaction management processes for T+1 delivery, documenting impacts, requirements, scenarios, and operational changes across the trade lifecycle.
What You’ll Do- Analyse current and future-state transaction management processes, including matching, settlement instruction handling, exceptions, fails management, and control points.
- Execute operational readiness activities including runbooks, standard operating procedures, controls, exception workflows, and Day 1/Day 2 preparation
- Document business requirements, process maps, user stories, and operational impacts arising from T+1 changes.
- Analyse changes across custody, settlements, asset servicing, and transaction management workflows
- Support testing preparation and execution by creating scenarios, validating requirements coverage, logging defects, and coordinating retesting.
- Work with SMEs to assess dependencies across settlements, custody, asset servicing, FX, liquidity, and client funding requirements.
- Produce clear project documentation including impact assessments, SOP updates, decision logs, and workshop outputs.
- Support operational readiness and stabilization activities through analysis of risks, issues, and process changes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to confirm business impacts, process changes, and stability requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in business analysis, transaction management operations, or post-trade change delivery.
- Good understanding of transaction management, settlements, and exception-handling workflows within securities services.
- Experience in securities services, custody operations, settlements, or asset servicing
- Strong understanding of settlement flows and transaction management processes
- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder workshops.
- Ability to connect operational detail with broader programme outcomes and readiness requirements.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Exposure to T+1 / T+0, market infrastructure change, or post-trade regulatory initiatives.
- Knowledge of fails management, pre-matching, or penalties-related processes.
- Consulting background or experience supporting large transformation programmes.
- Exposure to workflow redesign, controls uplift, or operational risk assessments
- Track record of managing stakeholders and supporting sustainable transformation
Programme context: All roles sit within a T+1 change environment spanning securities services business analysis, operational readiness, and testing, with close dependency on custody, settlements, asset servicing, transaction management, FX, liquidity, and client funding considerations.
