How it’s going (and growing)
With a talented team of 600+ Roofsters, our collaborative, can-do culture is what fuels our growth. In 2022, we closed on our Series E, raising $240 million, and have offices in California, Texas, and New York as well as many remote opportunities. Our growth includes recent acquisitions of Stessa (financial and asset management software), RentPrep (tenant screening and placement service for landlords), and Mynd (property management platform for both Retail and Institutional investors).
About the Team
We are a team of 5 Transaction Coordinators and a Director of Transaction Management (4 of whom are based out of our Oakland, CA office; 2 of whom are remote) who work closely with Roofstock clients and vendors to provide best-in-class property closing experiences.
About the Role
As our ideal candidate, you are first and foremost a team player, who thrives as working as part of a team, and have strong relationship building skills. You have a keen eye for detail and are meticulous in your follow through. You have superior organizational skills and are very deadline oriented. You have experience successfully working with multiple stakeholders to get the job done. Most of all, you are excited about being part of something great!
Responsibilities
- Use established knowledge of procedures for portfolio transactions to effectively oversee all aspects of a transaction from executed purchase agreement to closing
- Work closely with buyers, sellers, title companies, lenders, appraisers and other related stakeholders to ensure expedient, professional and transparent property closings
- Seamlessly coordinate portfolio closes of 10-50 properties per portfolio as well as manage 45-50 individual transactions at a given time
- Document processes and related transaction information in Roofstock systems
- Collaborate with various Roofstock departments to streamline processes
Qualifications
- Active Real Estate License required
- At least 3 years in a similar role involving real estate transaction coordination
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of real estate and the Escrow process
- Transaction experience with real estate funds, portfolios or institutions
- Calm under pressure in a fast paced and changing environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent computer skills, ability to navigate in Google Workspace (G Suite)
- Excellent organizational and follow through skills
- An insatiable thirst for learning, with demonstrable history of learning new skills and technologies
Location
This position is classified as REMOTE, with a strong preference for candidates located in the Greater Oakland Area open to a HYBRID work setting, being in-office on Tuesdays and Thursdays weekly.

Compensation
$70,000 -$80,000 annual base salary
Pay Transparency
Our compensation reflects several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position. Ultimately, in determining your pay it will be based on several factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and other job related factors. Roofstock is a total compensation company; the base salary is only a part of our total compensation package.
