Position Summary
Provide training oversight to Achieva Support employees. Develops, implements and monitors training materials for Achieva Support employees as mandated by government regulations and funder standards, program operations and/or agency initiatives. Ensures training compliance. Reports to Achieva Support’s Compliance Training Manager. In the absence of the Compliance Training Manager, reports directly to the Vice President of Quality & Compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Supports the achievement of an individual's personal outcomes, success, and inclusion in the community.

Adheres to Achieva and Achieva Support policies, procedures, mission, and core values.

Orients/trains Achieva Support new and current employees and management staff.

Provides annual and as-needed trainings to Achieva Support employees.

Develops, implements, and monitors training materials for Achieva Support employees as mandated by government regulations, funder standards, program operations, and/or agency initiatives.

Provides guidance and learning accommodations to Achieva Support employees as needed.

Serves as an advocate and liaison for the people supported at Achieva Support.

Reviews all training report forms and competency exams to evaluate or establish competency and understanding of training materials.

Tracks and ensures personnel meet all regulatory, agency, program, and credentialing training requirements prior to service delivery and throughout their employment.

Conducts ongoing and random record reviews to ensure compliance; reports non-compliance in a timely manner.

Prepares and submits comprehensive reports on training and compliance to management and external audit teams.

Confers with the Compliance Department to conduct surveys to identify training needs based on current processes, changes, and other factors.

Monitors and participates in the distribution of trainings through Achieva Support’s learning management system and/or other training platforms.

Informs Achieva Support program management of personnel and training requirements.

Collaborates as needed with other department leaders and external stakeholders.

Promotes trainings for all Achieva Support employees through internal and external trainings, newsletters, etc.

Promotes the professional development of Achieva Support employees.

Maintains knowledge of adult learning theories, best practices, and instructional design; implements performance action steps when needed.

Maintains knowledge of current county, state, and federal regulations, standards, and/or licensing applicable to all Achieva Support employees.

- Associate’s degree in human services, social science and/or related field and/or 2 years of training experience and industry experience of working with people with I/DD.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Effective interpersonal, motivational, and organizational skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Necessary computer/knowledge skills; i.e, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Google Doc, Google Sheets, etc.
- Must meet Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearance requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and properly insured vehicle available for daily use.
- Some local travel and some evenings and weekends required.

Skills Required
- Associate's degree in human services, social science and/or related field and/or 2 years of training experience and industry experience working with people with I/DD.
