Overview

Technical training professionals with demonstrated broad-based performance in all aspects of technical training design, development, delivery, and management. Experience includes training requirements analysis and planning including development of Navy Training System Plans (NTSPs) and Manpower Estimate Reports (MERs), Technical Training Equipment (TTE) requirement analysis and management, technical training project management including budget planning and execution, training resource scheduling, weekly reports, and Program Management Reviews. 

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support to organize tasks, collect and collate data into approved reports and formats, collect, update and maintain process documentation, coordination of meetings, developing agenda items, attending high-level meetings, generating minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Recommend policies, doctrine, tactics, and procedures given their past expert opinion or using analysis of actual outcomes.
  • Provide support for Program Management Reviews (PMR) and data calls.
  • Review, assess, and provide feedback/updates to the NIWC Atlantic CANES/ORT/MSC-Legacy Training Leads including, but not limited to, the documents listed below. Reviews, assessments, and feedback/updates will include the following, Technical/Analysis Reports. 

-CANES Ship Change Documents (SCDs)

-ILS Certification documents 

-IETM 

-Information System Operating Sequencing System (ISOSS) 

-Network Manager’s Guide (NMG) -Hosted Application and Connected Systems Integration Manual (HACSIM)

-CICDs

-Attend and/or participate in TACNET virtual and in-person training meetings and telephone conferences as directed by the government.

-ECRs to include providing training impact recommendations that result from those change documents. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Psychology or related training systems discipline.
  • Working towards Training Certification in Navy’s Basic Instructor Training (either NEC 805A or 9502) or a current industry standard trainer certification, such as Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) or CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+).
  • Cybersecurity Work Force (CSWF) qualified in 12 months.
  • Seven (7) years of professional training experience, to include: establishing training needs, developing goals and objectives, developing training programs, and applying the instructional system development (ISD) process.
  • Hands-on experience with Navy Shipboard Networks to include CANES, or other TACNET systems. -Experience should include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Network Administration, System Administration, Technical Documentation, and Training.
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated expertise in C4I Networks and System Administration. Technical Training in TACNET, or other Navy C4I systems Administration and Maintenance.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

Compensation: $90,000 - 95,000
