The Training/ Safety Coordinator at Famous Supply is responsible for maintaining the comprehensive safety program for the Distribution Center, along with ensuring and creating a great training experience for all associates who join our DC's team.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Develop DC warehouse and material handling safety standards and practices
- Work with the Safety Manager to create deployment plan
- Determine key safety metrics and goals
- Identify potential safety risks and create and execute a plan to mitigate them
- Review all incidents/near-misses to determine root causes and take necessary action in the DC
- Conduct safety audits
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Experience in development and deployment of a warehouse and material handling safety program
- Warehouse and material handling experience
- Product knowledge
- Training/ Onboarding experience
