The Role
Job Description SummaryThe Training Operations Specialist is responsible for managing training and coordinating the logistics of training programs for a global training center. Responsibilities include scheduling, registration, swaps/cancellations within learning and training management systems and others such as vendor management. This role requires an organized, collaborative leader­ capable of interacting with multiple stakeholders globally delivering a world-class training experience. Additionally, this leader interacts and partners in functions such as services, facilities, operations and EHS supporting a positive student experience, vendor management and assisting with or leading small projects.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work integrally with associated teams to capture, manage, coordinate, and schedule training (globally) to internal and external partners and customers. This includes select duties functioning as a registrar.
  • Managing Learning and Training Management Systems creating schedules and offerings, enrolling students, assigning training plans and closing course rosters.
  • Maintain training records and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance and other associated documentation utilized for financial process such as billing.
  • Communicate effectively with Service Leaders, Program Managers, trainers, participants, and stakeholders.
  • Support global training management planning processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to training logistics and operations. Identify areas for improvement, drive initiatives to improve operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree and few years of experience in a training role.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and web delivery tools (distance learning).
  • Proven ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to rapid response times and frequent change .
  • Proven examples of possessing results-driven, action-oriented, passionate work ethic resulting in a positive customer impact while balancing organizational needs
  • Demonstrated ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
  • Computer skills for MS Office Suite; Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power point and Excel
