Role location: This role can be located at either our facility in Brooks, KY or our facility in Carrollton, TX.
This role is in support of Cencora's third party logistics service in the US operating through our ICS business.
Under general direction of the appropriate Director, manages the training department to ensure that deliverables are defined and that processes are designed and documented across all division business units.
Delivers training and defines measurable tools to ensure associates are trained appropriately.
Manages the delivery of training programs to a mutually agreed upon deadline. Takes a lead role in designing business processes and ensuring that all associates execute process as defined .
  • Maintains and coordinates training schedules with leaders and Commercial Learning team. Training includes, but is not limited to, new hire, role/client specific, standard processes, and refresher/re-training needs.
  • Works with the Commercial Learning, DC, and Quality leaders to prioritize training needs of the organization, define the scope for deliverables, and develop plans for execution.
  • Facilitates and leads process design discussions used in training design required for projects, products, or other topics.
  • Coordinates process of submitting evaluations and administering assessments upon completion of training. Identifies "at-risk" team members at the conclusion of a training program and communicates this to the appropriate leader.
  • Designs, implements, and manages a version control process that ensures the integrity of all training documentation, the maintenance of attendance records, learning agendas, and job codes.
  • Develops productive work relationships that ensure open communication of ongoing training needs. Uses input from leaders and data to develop learning updates, as required.
  • Works with the Quality Team and Operations to develop and implement a plan for ongoing quality assurance, security, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruits, hires, and trains training specialists, as needed.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
Training and process design experience, in a project based/client-service environment and extensive experience in process design, training documentation, training delivery, and team management are preferred.
