What You’ll Do
- Grow the Training Department by identifying new opportunities and revenue streams
- Build partnerships with schools, businesses, and local governments
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to promote training services
- Manage the training department budget and P&L
- Lead, mentor, and develop the training team
- Deliver and oversee equipment operator training programs (forklift, aerial, compact equipment)
- Travel to customer sites to provide training and maintain relationships
- Support marketing initiatives to promote training programs
What We’re Looking For
- Experience developing or delivering training programs
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and public speaking abilities
- 3–5 years of experience working with training or safety programs
- Equipment operating experience (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to travel to jobsites to meet clients and / or to deliver safety training and evaluate equipment operators’ performance
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Training and safety certifications including WHMIS and TDG
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, construction, or equipment industries is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
