The EUV Trainer is responsible for transferring technical knowledge to customers and TRUMPF employees through instruction and hands-on training on TRUMPF EUV systems. Training topics include system operation, maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, alignment, and applicable safety practices. The position delivers standardized courses at the TRUMPF training center in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as individualized training at customer locations and other TRUMPF facilities in the United States and internationally. The EUV Trainer also supports training-center operations, course development, continuous improvement initiatives, and modern learning methods.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Present classroom, laboratory, and hands-on training for customers and TRUMPF employees on applicable EUV systems.
  • Deliver technical instruction in system operation, maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, alignment, and electrical workplace safety.
  • Adapt training delivery to participant experience, course requirements, and customer business needs.
  • Evaluate training procedures, curricula, and manuals; recommend and implement improvements with the Training Manager, global technical competency groups, and headquarters.
  • Support development and review of training documentation, instructional materials, technical data, and course content with technical writers and curriculum developers.
  • Support webinars, e-learning, virtual classrooms, and other blended-learning formats.
  • Perform training-related activities at the Phoenix training center and customer sites to support business demand and participant satisfaction.
  • Travel to customer locations and TRUMPF facilities in North America, Europe, Asia, and other regions for training, education, research, or related business needs.
  • Participate in projects, Continuous Improvement activities, and SYNCHRO initiatives.
  • Work effectively with remote teams and cross-functional technical organizations; prepare reports, presentations, and required deliverables.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Approximately 15%–30% travel is expected, including domestic and international travel. Unrestricted ability to travel throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and other regions is required.


Experience & Education


  • Associate degree, technical certification, bachelor’s degree, or master’s degree in Engineering, Optics, Physics, or a related technical field; equivalent education and work experience may be considered.
  • At least two years of demonstrated experience in a technical service, field service, manufacturing, semiconductor, engineering, or training environment; three or more years is preferred.
  • In-depth technical knowledge, preferably involving EUV systems, semiconductor equipment, machine tools, lasers, optics, electronics, or a related high-technology industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working according to applicable electrical workplace safety standards, including NFPA 70E where applicable.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills, including technical presentation and report-writing abilities.
  • Strong time-management, organizational, and independent-work skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver’s license; must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Phoenix, Arizona area.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional schedule adjustments based on customer training requirements.

Pay Range: $29.13 to $43.99
