Training & Document Manager II

Thatcher Company is seeking a Training & Document Manager II to manage employee training programs, qualification records, and controlled documentation across the organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees are trained, procedures are current, and compliance requirements are met in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage training programs, qualification records, and compliance tracking through LMS platforms.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, curricula, and employee qualification programs.
  • Administer document control processes, including SOPs, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Maintain document accuracy, version control, and audit-ready records within document management systems.
  • Coordinate training updates related to process, procedure, and regulatory changes.
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance initiatives.
  • Analyze training and document control metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Operations, EHS, Quality, Engineering, and HR to support workforce readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in training, document control, compliance, or quality systems.
  • 8-10+ years of experience working in a regulated industry such as chemical manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or similar environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and document management systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Experience with OSHA, EPA, DOT, ISO, FDA, or similar regulatory frameworks.
  • Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, ASQ, ISO, or training-related certifications.
  • Experience supporting audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
