Training & Development Manager 

Location: 3131 Eastside Street, Houston, TX 77098

Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000 

Employment Status: Full-Time

 Position Overview

RISE Association Management Group is seeking a dynamic and driven Training & Development Manager to lead the professional growth of our association management teams. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving training programs that elevate performance, strengthen leadership capability, and ensure consistent service delivery across the organization.

This position plays a critical role in delivering the “RISE Difference” by equipping our managers with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to lead their communities successfully. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong communicator, and experienced leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about developing people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding and ongoing professional development programs. 
  • Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and training priorities aligned with company objectives.
  • Design engaging training materials including presentations, manuals, workshops, digital courses, and video content (in collaboration with Marketing).
  • Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), track employee progress, and generate training reports.
  • Mentor and coach managers in leadership, financial oversight, client communication, operational excellence, and problem-solving.
  • Translate complex concepts (financial, operational, regulatory) into practical, actionable guidance.
  • Support the onboarding of new employees.
  • Represent RISE at industry events and stay current on trends and regulatory developments.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of professional experience in leadership, training & development, operations, property management, or a related field.
  • Experience designing and delivering training programs.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts and basic accounting principles.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to quickly learn complex regulatory frameworks (including HOA law).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Self-starter with high accountability and a “find a way” mindset.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Primary work location: 3131 Eastside Street, Suite 130, Houston, TX 77098.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Majority of work is performed seated in an office environment.
