Training & Development Coordinator

We believe that great care begins with great people. That's why we're looking for a Training & Development Coordinator who is passionate about helping employees learn, grow, and succeed.
This position plays a key role in onboarding new employees, facilitating training programs, supporting compliance, and helping build a positive workplace culture across our residential and behavioral health programs.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate employee orientation and onboarding
- Facilitate workforce training programs
- Teach CPR and First Aid courses
- Facilitate Crisis Intervention training and recertification
- Facilitate Darkness to Light child abuse prevention training
- Conduct documentation and compliance training
- Track employee training and certification requirements
- Maintain training records and compliance reports
- Support competency evaluations and workforce development
- Assist with leadership development initiatives
- Promote a culture of learning, growth, and accountability
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Social Work, Psychology, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Experience delivering training and facilitating groups
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, residential treatment, child welfare, education, or human services preferred
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred

Skills Required

What We Do
Anderson Health Services is a minority‑owned, CARF‑accredited behavioral health agency based in Marshville, North Carolina. The organization provides specialized residential and therapeutic services for adolescent boys (roughly ages 7–17), focusing on person‑centered care and social‑emotional competencies. Anderson supports youth and families across North Carolina with programs that address physical, mental, emotional and social needs, and prepares clients for appropriate levels of care.
