The Training Associate is responsible for delivering high-quality training to drivers/customers to ensure they understand company processes, platform usage, safety standards, and performance expectations. The role focuses on onboarding training, refresher sessions, and continuous skills development to drive compliance, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Training Delivery & Facilitation
Conduct onboarding training sessions for new drivers/customers (classroom, field, and virtual).
Deliver training on Uber, company SOPs, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
Facilitate refresher and corrective training sessions for underperforming or non-compliant drivers.
Support the Training Lead in preparing, updating, and improving training materials, presentations, and guides.
Ensure training content is easy to understand, practical, and aligned with operational realities.
Adapt training materials based on feedback, operational changes, or new product launches.
Assess trainee understanding through quizzes, role plays, and practical demonstrations.
Identify skill gaps and recommend coaching or retraining where necessary.
Ensure all trainees meet minimum competency and compliance requirements before activation.
Maintain accurate training attendance records and trainee performance data.
Submit daily and weekly training reports, including number trained, pass rates, and challenges.
Track training completion and certification status of drivers/customers.
Work closely with Sales, Customer Support, and Operations teams to align training with onboarding needs.
Support smooth handover of trained customers to Operations and Customer Success teams.
Escalate training-related issues, risks, or gaps to the Training Lead promptly.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Operations, or a related field (preferred).
1–3 years of experience in training, facilitation, customer operations, or driver management.
Experience training adults in operational or field-based environments is an advantage.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Basic computer skills (Google Workspace, CRM/LMS tools).
Strong facilitation and coaching skills
Clear verbal and written communication
Attention to detail and structure
Patience and ability to work with diverse learners
