Inside the Role
The Training and Documentation Manager is responsible for all training and technical documentation topics within Daimler Coaches North America (DCNA).You will develop and execute technical, system and driver trainings using all currently known methods like, digital trainings; teams/zoom trainings and face to face trainings.
Develop and implementation of a digital platform for technical documentation, which will be available for our service partner and customers.

Position offers a starting salary range of $95,000.00 - $121,000.00 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
As the Training & Documentation Lead, you will design, develop, and deliver high-impact technical training and documentation solutions that enable our service partners and customers to successfully support Daimler Coaches products.
Training Strategy & Development
Develop and deliver technical training programs in collaboration with Daimler Bus and DTNA HQ teams
Design and facilitate instructor-led (in-person) and digital/online training experiences
Create engaging training videos, animations, and e-learning modules
Content & Documentation Management
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve technical training materials and documentation
Ensure alignment with aftermarket systems (repair manuals, parts catalogs, and service tools)
Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly content
Program Leadership
Plan and execute training programs for service partners and customers across multiple regions
Develop and implement a “Train-the-Trainer” program to scale knowledge across the network
Design and deliver driver-facing training concepts to enhance product use and safety
Digital & Systems Enablement
Lead the development and implementation of a digital platform for technical documentation
Establish systems and processes for distributing technical bulletins, updates, and service information
Drive adoption of modern learning technologies and mobile training solutions
Knowledge You Should Bring
Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience, or an Associates degree and 7-9 years of relevant experience, is required.
Experience in training, learning and development, or instructional design, is required
Strong training, teaching, and facilitation experience across diverse audiences
Expertise in e-learning, digital training tools, and mobile learning platforms
Solid understanding of aftermarket/service systems (repair manuals, parts catalogs, diagnostics)
Strong IT proficiency and ability to manage digital content platforms
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
Proven ability to translate technical concepts into practical, easy-to-understand materials
High level of organization, attention to detail, and ownership

Exceptional Candidates Might Have
Automotive experience, especially working with service or field technicians
Degrees or certifications in instructional design, or formal technical training design.
