Talent Development Specialist

Location: Miami

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Talent Development Specialist to design, deliver, and continuously improve learning, talent and engagement initiatives across our global workforce. This role plays a critical part in building skills, growing succession pipeline, strengthening culture, and enhancing the employee experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You will collaborate closely with HR, business leaders, and key stakeholders to ensure programs are scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Learning & Development

  • Design, implement, and manage global learning programs, including New Employee Experience / onboarding, leadership development, technical upskilling, and professional skills training.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and business leaders to identify capability gaps and translate them into effective learning solutions.
  • Manage and optimize learning platforms, ensuring high adoption, quality content, and measurable outcomes.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness using data, feedback, and performance metrics; continuously refine offerings based on insights.
  • Support career development initiatives, including learning pathways, mentoring, and internal mobility.

Employee Engagement

  • Develop and execute employee engagement strategies that support company culture, values, and business priorities.
  • Lead global engagement initiatives such as surveys and action planning and culture-building campaigns.
  • Analyze engagement data and trends across; partner with leaders and HR Business Partners to drive targeted, practical improvements.
  • Support change management and communications related to learning, engagement, and organizational initiatives.

Collaboration & Global Enablement

  • Work effectively across time zones and cultures, adapting programs to meet local  needs while maintaining global consistency.
  • Act as a trusted partner to HR Business Partners and leaders on learning, succession and engagement best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in learning & development, employee engagement, or talent development, preferably in an IT or software environment.
  • Experience supporting a global, distributed workforce.
  • Strong instructional design and facilitation skills (virtual and in-person).
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and measure impact.
  • Familiarity with learning technologies, digital learning tools, and engagement platforms, LMS administration (Absorb preferred).
