Training and Development Specialist

iSchool, a prominent EdTech platform dedicated to providing coding and artificial intelligence education to students aged 6 to 18, is seeking a passionate and skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees and educators.

Your focus will be on cultivating a culture of continuous learning and professional development that aligns with iSchool’s mission of empowering young minds through technology. You will work closely with various departments to assess training needs and develop engaging solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps in skills and knowledge among employees.
• Design and develop training programs, materials, and workshops that meet the identified needs.
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with department heads to support employee development and career growth initiatives.
• Stay current with trends and best practices in training and development to ensure iSchool remains a leader in educational innovation.
• Maintain training records and prepare reports on training activities and outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Training & Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to assess training needs and create impactful learning experiences.
• Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning technologies.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
